Revenue

What a company earned over the financial year — before any costs are deducted.

Total revenue covers operating income — sales of goods, products and services — together with financial and other income. It is the figure APR publishes as “Ukupni prihodi”, and the most commonly used measure of a company's size.

It should be read carefully: high revenue says nothing about whether a company is profitable. A wholesaler turning over billions of dinars can earn less than a small consultancy.

About 21% of filed statements report zero revenue. Those are typically dormant companies or declarations of inactivity rather than an error in the data.
