Annual report

The yearly statement a company files with APR, which is public.

Companies file a regular annual financial statement with the Register of Financial Statements kept by APR. It comprises the balance sheet, the income statement and supporting reports, and the deadline is the end of June for the preceding year.

APR's open data carries a summary of each company's latest filing: business assets, equity, accumulated loss, total revenue, net profit, net loss and the average number of employees. It does not carry the full history — depth is built here by keeping every monthly snapshot.

The absence of a filing is itself a data point. About 87% of registered companies have one; for a company that has traded for years and filed nothing, it is a question worth asking.

Amounts are filed in thousands of dinars. They are converted to whole dinars here, because that is what a reader expects to see.
